This collection of natural fabrics is handwoven and come from Seraya Village, nestled in the far eastern Karangasem Regency of Bali, overlooking the fast moving Lombok Strait. The art of weaving fabrics is passed on through generations of Saraya women, sustaining an ancient practice, providing an important contribution to local livelihoods. Soft cotton and natural plant dyes are harvested from village gardens, pass through the hands of village artisans most of whom are women, often taking more than two months from start to finish. The results are stunning, an eclectic and colorful collection of magical fabrics.
