Tjandra Hutama  is one of Bali’s young up and coming artists whose celebrated awards have already won him acclaim and is prized by collectors in Indonesia and around the world. Born in 1981, Kurniwan studied visual communication design at the Institut Teknologu Sepuluh in Surabaya East Java. He currently holds the Chair of the Bali Photographers Association. His most recent awards include the PSA Gold Medal, APU Gold Medal, Photovivo Gold Medal at “DIGIRAP Salon” – Asia Super 12 Circuit 2020, 2nd Winner Sandisk “ShareYourWorld” Photo Contest 2019, FIAP Ribbon Street Life “French Digital Tour 2018”, “Gold Medal & Bronze Medal ” Salonfoto Indonesia 2018, 1st Winner of ICNT Herritage Photo Contest 2017, 1st Winner International Chinese New Year Photo Contest 2016. Tjandra’s art combines photography and art, that capture intimate and meaningful images of Bali life.
