Artist Ketut Hordi Soki’s art work carries on the creative traditions of her father I ketut Soki. As a boy, I Ketut Soki was one of two chldren to receive art lessons from the famous Arie Smit, and a founding member of what was to become known as the “Young Artists” movement. Under the watchful eye of her talented father, Ketut Hordi Soki started painting while he was still in elementary school, first drawing images of rice planting and harvesting. Today, his paintings capture everyday Balinese life, inherited his father’s very distinctive painting style
